Super-Easy Turkey Sausage Recipe (Breakfast Sausage)
This breakfast turkey sausage recipe is easy to make and only requires a handful of ingredients at the most. Whether you are short on time or looking for a yummy protein-filled breakfast, these sausage patties will become a quick go-to.

I made these all the time when I was homeschooling my kids. They were quick, filling, healthy, and tasty. Also, my kids and I liked them. This made my day easier and let me focus on all of the other tasks I needed to complete.
Although my kids have all graduated, I still like to make these. I find them to be easy to pull out of the refrigerator at any time for some protein energy on the go.
How To Make
Step 1: Gather ground turkey, poultry &/or sage seasonings, salt, and cooking oil of choice.
Step 2: Place approximately 2 tbsp. of olive or coconut oil in a cast iron frying pan and place on low to medium heat. This will depend on how your stovetop heats.
Step 3: Place ground turkey and seasonings into a bowl.
Step 4: Create 3-inch flat patties.
Step 5: Place turkey patties into the heated frying pan.
Step 6: Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side or until browned on the outside and no longer pink in the middle. This will depend on how thick you make the patties.
Step 8: Place cooked sausages onto a wired rack or a paper plate lined with paper towels.
Ways to Eat It
- Eat as a breakfast side
- Place the sausage on bread or biscuit and enjoy it as a breakfast sandwich. It is delicious on a sweet potato cassava biscuit.
- Eat on its own as a grab-and-go protein snack straight out of the fridge. I do this often and find it very convenient.
